Christina Chrysochoidou and Nikolas Hatzigiakoumis established the ICHTHYS swimming team a few months after the birth of their son. Their love for children and sports prompted them to dedicate their lives to the most organized baby-swimming program in Greece. Then, during the pregnancy of their second child, they brought from Russia the only aqua yoga program for pregnant women in Northern Greece. It is not just a learn-to-swim program; it is a way of life!

The goal is to change mindsets. ICHTHYS swimming pools are meeting places for parents and children, where we all share the same interests, who seek the best, and try to change the mentality for the proper education of our children. Our basic idea is to spend as much essential time as we can with our children, to hug them, to observe them and thus learn to respond directly to their needs, so that they are full of love in the first but also most important years for the their psychological and social development.

Through sports, music, meetings and seminars, on topics such as correct approaches, school, breastfeeding, childbirth, and first aid, we become stronger every day both for ourselves and for our children.

Through learning, we understand that the parent's journey never ends and with a little time and a lot of love, this world can become a better place for all!
