THE GREEK DESIGNERS ® is the first online platform to promote globally products of contemporary Greek design inspired by Greek history and culture. Its mission is to make Greek design identity internationally known.
THE GREEK DESIGNERS ® was created in 2016 by architect Filiana Stefanakaki, architect and Dimitra Stefanakaki, landscape architect. Today, the platform hosts 40+ designers, and 300+ selected products. Its products travel all over the world with online sales every day. The platform has participated in exhibitions with the aim of promoting Greek designers.
‘A creation, from architecture to product and fashion design, remains timeless as it comes up with a strong design concept and definitely Greece with a history of 3500 years is the leading storyteller on this.
We decided to participate in Venture Garden in order to gain knowledge about expanding and promoting a business idea through new technologies and digital evolution.
Venture Garden was the motive to develop our idea of the THEGREEKDESIGNERS.COM into an online platform. Through our meetings, we were given the opportunity to synthesize all pieces in various areas of entrepreneurship and technical development of the idea.
