Giorgos Birkas, seeing the gap between boat owners and marinas, decided together with his team to create NEREID | The future of yachting experience. NEREID with the use of AI and Blockchain offers a fully automated software that provides integrated services both to boat owners (booking, arrangement for special services) and to marinas (marina management system). Marinas from Halkidiki have already become the first customers to use the platform.
The team consists of undergraduate and postgraduate students. In this course they always have with them two mentors with great experience, DIPAE assistant professor Dimitris Karabatzakis and Dr. George Michaelidis. In this way, they combine a passion for creation with experience.
It is not enough to plant a seed in order for it to grow, it also needs the right conditions. Thus VentureGarden gave us the appropriate knowledge to create these conditions, resulting in the development of our own entrepreneurship seed.
