TRANSACTION SECURITY

All credit card payment transactions are performed through Alpha Bank's "Alpha e-Commerce" electronic payment platform which uses encryption TLS 1.2 with protocol 128-bit (Secure Sockets Layer - SSL). This encryption is a way of coding the information until it reaches its recipient, who will be able to decode it while using the appropriate password.

Notification and Consent for the Processing of Personal Data

The ALBA Executive Development & Applied Research in Business Administration (hereinafter "ALBA") hereby informs you that it collects, processes and stores, in electronic and paper form, your personal data provided by you and included in this donation statement in support of VentureGarden (indicative of the following: Name, Contact and E-mail Details, Tax Details, Amount of Donation, Relationship with the Program), applicable in relation to the provisions of the applicable legislation on personal data, i.e. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council ("General Regulation of Personal Data"), and the Greek Legislation for the protection of personal data, as applicable from time to time (hereinafter "the Personal Data Legislation"), and in accordance to the specific terms and conditions set below:

ALBA processes the above personal data for the purpose of the acceptance of your donation. The legal basis of the above processing is your written consent granted hereby, the compliance with ALBA’s legal obligations and the serving of the legitimate interests of ALBA.

The above personal data will be accessible and processed by authorized employees of ALBA, who will process the personal data exclusively for the fulfillment of the aforementioned purposes and in no case for their own benefit. Furthermore, some of the above personal data will be accessible and processed, within the framework of their competences, by authorized external collaborators of ALBA to fulfill the aforementioned purposes (indicatively by the statutory auditors, and donors and sponsors of the program).

Furthermore, some of your data may be transferred to the Greek tax authorities for compliance with legal obligations. Any further transmission of personal data to any third party or to a country outside the European Union will only be carried out in accordance with the Personal Data Legislation. ALBA will keep and process the above personal data for as long as it is required for the serving of the aforementioned processing purposes and for as long as it is required in order to comply with its legal obligations and to defend itself against any legal claims. After the above time period, ALBA will proceed with the definite deletion of the above personal data.

Subject to certain exceptions, conditions and limitations provided by the Personal Data Legislation, your right of access, rectification, restriction of processing, objection, erasure of the above personal data, as well as the right to data portability. In case you exercise one of the aforementioned rights, ALBA will take any possible measure for the prompt satisfaction of your request, according to the specific provisions and conditions of the Personal Data Legislation, and shall inform you in writing regarding the satisfaction of your request, or for the reasons that prevent the exercise or the satisfaction thereof according to the Personal Data Legislation. In addition, you may at any time withdraw your present consent, without however affecting the lawfulness of processing based on your consent before its withdrawal and the processing based on any other legal basis. We inform you that in case of withdrawal of your consent, we will not be able to use the above personal data and your donation to ALBA may not be possible.

Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, in case you consider that the processing of your personal data is against the applicable legislation.
