VentureGarden Athens run for the first time on February 2014, a after identifying a gap in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Based on this gap, a human-centered educational program was designed. The programs mission is to to give practical knowledge, empower entrepreneurs in a safe educational context, and help them get the necessary confidence for his/her next steps.
Athens is the center for all aspiring entrepreneurs, giving them a variety of choices for training, networking and support options regarding entrepreneurship. VentureGarden positions as an idea accelerator, helping participants define their next steps.
VentureGarden Athens, is implemented by Alba Hub for Entrepreneurship and Development, the business center of Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece. AHEAD has a long experience in training entrepreneurs looking for ways to develop their business ideas and be able to set up their own businesses. It brings together all of Alba's entrepreneurial activities. Supports Alba students and alumni through information, networking and guidance on their business ideas. In the past, AHEAD has also supported refugees, immigrants and vulnerable and excluded communities of people in other entrepreneurial programs.

Alexis Komselis
Alexis is the director and co-founder of AHEAD-Alba Hub for Entrepreneurship and Development at Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece. He designs and implements programs to support entrepreneurs and family business members. He regularly participates in judging committees of awards and entrepreneurship competitions, or as a mentor supporting teams that take part in such events. He teaches entrepreneurship courses for Alba's MSc in Entrepreneurship and The Alba MBA, and seminars on the Business Model Canvas at Incubators and Accelerators. His academic research focuses on business models, and family business sustainability and governance. He studied business administration at Deree – The American College of Greece and entrepreneurship at postgraduate level at the University of Aberdeen.

Ellie Spengou
Ellie is a Project Coordinator at AHEAD - Alba Hub for Entrepreneurship and Development at the Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece. Previously she has held a variety of roles in media, art and communications in medium-sized and listed organizations. Ellie studied Communication, Media and Culture at Panteion University and holds an MSc in Arts, Policy and Cultural Entrepreneurship from the University of Groningen. She is responsible for the delivery of VentureGarden in Southern Greece.

Dimitris Papadakis
Dimitris is the Entrepreneurship Trainer of Alba Hub for Entrepreneurship and Development (AHEAD) of Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece. Dimitris has multi-years national and international experience as a corporate and startup manager, as well as an entrepreneurship and innovation consultant. He has lived and worked in more than 8 countries and since 2013 supports students, graduates and professionals through various initiatives as a career & life counselor, mentor and business coach.
