VentureGarden Athens run for the first time on February 2014, a after identifying a gap in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Based on this gap, a human-centered educational program was designed. The programs mission is to to give practical knowledge, empower entrepreneurs in a safe educational context, and help them get the necessary confidence for his/her next steps.

Athens is the center for all aspiring entrepreneurs, giving them a variety of choices for training, networking and support options regarding entrepreneurship. VentureGarden positions as an idea accelerator, helping participants define their next steps.

VentureGarden Athens, is implemented by Alba Hub for Entrepreneurship and Development, the business center of Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece. AHEAD has a long experience in training entrepreneurs looking for ways to develop their business ideas and be able to set up their own businesses. It brings together all of Alba's entrepreneurial activities. Supports Alba students and alumni through information, networking and guidance on their business ideas. In the past, AHEAD has also supported refugees, immigrants and vulnerable and excluded communities of people in other entrepreneurial programs.

  • Alexis Komselis

    Alexis is the director and co-founder of AHEAD-Alba Hub for Entrepreneurship and Development at Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece. He designs and implements programs to support entrepreneurs and family business members. He regularly participates in judging committees of awards and entrepreneurship competitions, or as a mentor supporting teams that take part in such events. He teaches entrepreneurship courses for Alba's MSc in Entrepreneurship and The Alba MBA, and seminars on the Business Model Canvas at Incubators and Accelerators. His academic research focuses on business models, and family business sustainability and governance. He studied business administration at Deree – The American College of Greece and entrepreneurship at postgraduate level at the University of Aberdeen.

  • Marina Nikolarou

    Marina is a Project Coordinator at AHEAD - Alba Hub for Entrepreneurship and Development at Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece. With an academic background in Anthropology, she approaches entrepreneurship through a deep understanding of human behavior and social dynamics. In her role, she designs and implements initiatives that foster innovation and growth, building meaningful connections between ideas, people, and opportunities. She focuses on creating impactful actions, combining strategic thinking with creativity and a collaborative mindset.

  • Konstantinos Dendrinos

    Konstantinos is an entrepreneur and business builder with over a decade of hands-on experience launching and scaling ventures. An Alba MBA graduate and an Ex-VentureGardener, he has founded multiple companies, most notably UNIPERFECT, where he serves as Co-Founder & Managing Director, leading strategy, growth, and business development. His experience spans go-to-market strategy, strategic partnerships and bootstrapped growth. Having participated in VentureGarden a decade ago, he later returned as a mentor and long-standing contributor to the program. Today, as Entrepreneur in Residence at the Alba Hub for Entrepreneurship and Development (AHEAD), he supports early-stage founders in refining their business models, validating their ideas, and building sustainable ventures with a strong focus on execution and disciplined growth.
